Why Do We Need To Be Saved?

 

EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE SAVED BECAUSE

 

"All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned everyone to do our own thing." Isaiah 53:6

 

"As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:10

 

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truths are not with us"

1 John 1:8

IT'S NOT OUR WORKS

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and the renewing of the Holy Spirit.

Titus 3:5

 

" Jesus answered and said to him, Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. " John 3:3

REPENT (Change your mind)

 

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. (Mark 1:15 KJV)

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:3 KJV)

SALVATION ALREADY PREPARED

 

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

BELIEVE JESUS WILL SAVE YOU

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  (17)  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  (18)  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  (19)  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  John 3:16-19

RELY ON CHRIST TO SAVE YOU

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.  (Luke 19:10 KJV)
"That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Romans 10:9,10

 

A DEFINITE DECISION REQUIRED

 

"Today if ye will hear his voice harden not your heart."

Hebrews 3:15

"Behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation." 2nd Corinthians 6:2

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him. John 3:36

 

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out my hand. My Father, Who gave them to me, is greater than all, and there is no way to pluck them from my Father's hand. I and my Father are one."John 10:27-30

 

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12

THE MISTAKE OF UNBELIEF

 

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18

THERE IS A TIME TO BE SAVED (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)(2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV)

 

CALL ON JESUS NOW

 

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.(Romans 10:9 KJV)

 

NOW IS THE TIME TO

 

Pray to God and ask Him to save you, to let you know this is for real, that you want to know with a certainty of life eternal and forgiveness of your sin.
